‘When your Mother has grown older, and you have grown older,
When what was formerly easy and effortless becomes a burden,
When her dear loyal eyes do not look out into life as before,
When her legs have grown tired and do not want to carry her any more –

Then give her your arm for support, accompany her with gladness and joy,
The hour will come when, weeping, you will accompany her on her last journey.

And if she asks you, answer her;
If she asks again, speak... (more)

Stone-cold sober everyone was. But not for long. With two wine bottles uncorked and plastic cups clanging, disinhibition slowly filled the atmosphere. Before long, it wasn’t just cups being downed but bottles as well. Soon, the hairy man in the picture was pouring trickles of wine into his cup and wishing for more, more wine…And I was kept sober enough to tell the story…J

For the past 3 weeks approximately, I have been suffering from some troublesome symptoms of passing of loose and frequent stools, which is made more troublesome by food intake…This is really depressing as food is one of my weak points – Food, Glorious Food! – you can say that I live for food…J As I was suffering from the most insufferable – gassy stomach, dull epigastric discomfort, nausea, belching right-left-centre-up-and-down like nobody’s business, I was reminded of a notice on one of my Pathological Pathology lecturer’s door in the Pathological Pathology Department…

*Sniff sniff*…this place smells musty, like ikan hanyir being left around in a pile for months around this corner of the World Wide Web. I can hear slow drip of an old pipe somewhere in the other corner somewhere, dripping on a small pool of stagnant, filthy water. As I approach closer, feeling with my outstretched hand for the light bulb string at its usual place, large cobwebs smothered my sweaty face. I brushed them off and found the light. This does not look like the familiar warm and cozy two2grump lounge I knew long ago, maybe a few months back…Could it be? What happened since then?... (more)

Obstacles and ripples....

Like when water rushes over the plates causing ripples that reflect,
Every grump met on this path we take is such,
Allowing us to adapt and make the best of things,
This taking the challenge to change an obstacle into a strength.
How's that for a wise saying?
Think you understand right SmallGrump?
